Biography
During her first year of law school, Megan began working with the Ito Law Group as a legal intern and summer associate. Upon her graduation from Washington University School of Law (St. Louis), she transitioned seamlessly into working as an associate. Megan entered law school knowing she wanted to practice bankruptcy law. She began growing her knowledge of the practice area by taking courses focused on bankruptcy, commercial law, and business reorganization. She also completed a judicial externship with the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Missouri under the guidance of the Honorable Barry S. Schermer. Since 2020, Megan has worked extensively with the Ito Law Group aiding in the representation of creditors' committees, debtors-in-possession, chapter 11 and 7 trustees, litigation trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, and buyers of distressed business in bankruptcy cases throughout the United States. Megan's industry experience encompasses, among other areas, aviation, cryptocurrency, employment, and finance
